nor destroyed frivolously.? Hmmm wouldn't a strategy to destroy or control the economics of Bitcoin be to acquire it and destroy it. Why couldn't a regulatory organization or nation use same strategy approach to Bitcoin as you present in other examples of Bison, or RAI stones?

There is no such thing as “destroyed” bitcoin. A dead bison is valueless, but a lost bitcoin reduces the already scarce supply. Buying bitcoin to then purposefully discard or “lose it” is only increasing its scarcity and therefore its relative value. Less bitcoin in circulation doesn’t decrease its utility.
